Air Ambulance Visit

Published on June 24, 2020 by

I visit the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity in order to understand the work of this essential service. Filmed pre-Covid19, I met Matt, the lovely paramedic who shares a typical journey on the helicopter. It’s also Gazza’s first trip to the airfield.

It’s your donations that allow the Charity to keep saving lives. They receive no day to day government funding and rely totally on your support.…

Within five minutes of a call to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, our team can take off or hit the road and be on their way. GWAAC provides emergency care to people who are in a state so critical that they require the specialist skills of our team at the scene of the accident or medical incident.

GWAAC saves lives across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and surrounding areas.

What I’m wearing – (top half) – the Knox Urbane Pro and the (bottom half) Held Joker Trousers. Gloves are Knox Handroids and my helmet is made by Nexx. Get in touch if you want some Knox kit! 🙂
